Master of Arts Thesis Performance New York University 2001

Previously, Jaye starred in the Los Angeles Production of Angry Young Teenage Girl Gang. Set in the mythical 1950's of juvenile delinquency films, this gender-bending, age-defying, thoroughly pulpy musical by Mark W. Knowles and David g. Smith had its world premiere in Los Angeles in February 2003.

In Girl Gang, Jaye plays the leader of the gang, bad-girl-with-a-heart-of-gold Myra who must reconcile her sordid past with the love she has growing in her heart. In addition to displaying her acting and singing chops, Jaye also served as Co-Producer and Associate Costumer - which the Tolucan praised as "Colorful and hilarious '50s costumes" - on the project.
